This last unfinished one was a try at a more child like illustration. the idea at the beginning was also to pay a bit more attention to the composition.

One more unfinished one. An attempt to bring together some stuff I like. As soon as I tried to paint, it became clear that it should stay like this :S

Two more that I'll never finish. The idea on the upper one was to do a Skeletor. I wanted to redraw it as a demon monster all pumped up or a really skeletal sorcerer. This one here was supposed to be just me figuring out the original one. The bottom one was just a sketch.

A couple of things i started and that I doubt I'll finish. The upper one was just a sketch I kept painting with no reason and the bottom one was just me trying some different composition.

Spiderman 2099 for a restart. It could be better but it's enough for now.

Some non-important stuff I do when I have some minutes. Personally I don't like any of them :S

I spent two hours on each. I'm trying to return to the rhythm.

Because now I have much less time to draw and paint, I'll just post whatever i have for the day, finished or not. This one was just for me to try a way of using brushes that I'm not used to.

I wonder if it bites...

I haven't post for a while. So here's my first attempt at the Chow competition of this past week on the conceptart.org site. I didn t have much time and I did really bad on this one, so in the end, i just threw a shameless lens flare right in the middle so no one could stare at it for long :D so here's 'Atomic, the man of the Atom', or, like his wicked enemies call him, here's 'Mr Golden Pants'.

This one is a frustration. I don't like to leave them halfway but I really want to work on a certain style right now, and this one is delaying me a bit. I should be working on something else. I'll leave this one as it is and I'll probably come back to it later. So for now, this is a work in progress.

I'm going fairy tale :S One more step towards one of the things I want to do well.

YEYY!!! - 100th POST!!! - It's almost a year since I started this blog and I'm quite happy to see how much I upgraded my drawing and my painting skills since. Although it is still far away from where I want to get, the progress is happening and that's what I want most. That, and to enjoy the ride :D I have to thank all my friends that help me to progress, specially Ben Ho that always find time to give me some wisdom. ROCK ON!! Anyway, my birthday was last Sunday and me and my girlfriend went to the river and did some canoeing with some friends at night. The moon was there, millions of stars, and it felt like it should always be. So yeah, this one is cheesy all the way :D :D :D

I'm quite happy with this one, mostly because it was made in about 2 hours :D

And here's something I want to start trying more often. Weird but enjoyable.

More thumb tries. Not as good as the previous one I think, but I'm trying to do stuff that I'm not confortable with, so is all good I guess. I do think the one from the top is an improvement from the lower one. Have to keep going.

Not happy at all with this one. Too much time and too much work for a not so good result :S have to do more exercises.

These next pages are from a comic book I was doing some years ago and that never got finished. I was going through the old stuff and decided to colour one page just for the fun of it. I think some of my drawing was better then. I think the colouring is not a good one but I don't really know how to make it better. Any tip is welcome.

just trying a new aproach. this is just a bad doodle. why do I keep forgeting that without a good drawing as a base there's no such thing as a good painting.
